These are works that I made in my own time either for myself or others. Click on each image for more information.
These hair picks are made out of walnut, have a powdered silver inlay, and are finished with a natural beeswax. I cut the picks out of a solid piece of wood using a scroll saw. I sanded the piece up to 4000 grit, adding a taper along the way. The engraving for the names was done using the laser cutter and was inlayed with powdered silver and CA glue. I went with a beeswax and orange oil finish in order to make the piece safe for use on hair.
I made this simple bookshelf over the course of three days during my winter break in 2020-2021. I utilized lumber from a home improvement store. I cut everything down to the appropriate size and sanded to 220 grit. Then I stained the wood and assembled it using shelf brackets. This piece was done entirely using hand tools.
